Looking for Jobs and Apartment/Lodging around Hood.

I am moving out to Oregon at the end of this season in Vermont to fulfill my dream of being a year round ski bum. I am hoping to leave sometime near the beginning of April. I am currently looking for apartments in the area (Hood River-ish) and employment. I have experience working at Ski resorts, retail, restaurants, painting, construction, and carpentry.
