Watup coloradoieanites. Yea another one of these threads.

I'm in Denver right now, looking for a place to live in breck or possibly vail this winter, relatively cheap. I'm a mellow guy, clean up after myself, wash my own dishes, don't smell, all that good stuff. Preferably a place on the bus route because I don't have a car at the moment...

hit me up if you have/know of anything! thanks guys

hmm.. theres this one place on wellington where you could rent a room out of a house with shared kitchen/living room/dining room/family room in that price range thats really nice. The only catch is that the owner of the house is very weird. Also, check craigslist for roommates. There is tons of stuff on there.

yea ive been checking craigslist every day. Im mobing up there today to go around and look for jobs so I will try check that out.

Im in if you need another person. I have another friend who would be happy to stay as well. what times are you looking for?

Wish I saw this before I filled my 2 extra rooms. For all those lookin, if you're going to look at a place bring a check with you ready to sign. The places I looked at that I wanted to think about all went hours after I looked at them. When I posted my $600 /month rooms up on craigslist last week I got 40+ emails within a day and a half. If you didn't sign, the next person was coming to look at it and I already forgot your name.

Then again I had signed and paid for a 4br before I found roomates, so I was in a bit of rush to not pay for those extra rooms myself. Buuut keep in mind if you are checking somethin out you are probably 1 of 40. Putting together an NS house will likely be your easiest solution.

sorry for the dub-post, but email me

gregory.harlam@gmail.com

i dont have any place in mind, but if annyone is seriously interested in getting a larger place and filling it with NSers, I am 100% down - and it will open up the options. I will keep track of everyone in the house and keep everyone updated with new additions, but send me as much information about yourself in the email just so I have it.

for example

Gregory Harlam, 19 years old, from Providence, Rhode Island, part-time ski instructor at Breck, full time job at Grand Lodge on Peak 7, skiier, 420 friendly (but if everyone isnt than we will make it work and keep it outside or some shit). Very laid back, love to ski park, want to ski more BC but havent been able to in the past seeing as how I am from the east coast.

Fucking awesome. You'll have an email

erich@erichsparks.com

Erich Sparks, 21 from upstate NY. Web designer/startup owner. Work from home, ski all day. Love to cook, very clean. Trying to spend as little as possible so cheaper=better. Asthma acts up as soon as I smell any tobacco, incense or any smoke but not ganj (thankfully). Have a car but might sell it before I head out. Trying to get out there ASAP (within days/weeks).

Some things I've learned from living with my GF. I'm extremely environmentally friendly and hate unnecessary waste. Apparently not everyone is like this and I understand that but I will definitely try to inform people of their bad habits and hope people do the same for me. Dishes don't do themselves and I don't like doing other people's dishes that have been growing mold for weeks. If you see something that needs to be done, do it, don't wait a week or even 5 minutes. Just do it. Compromise, compromise, compromise.

My step brother is in Boulder now and wants to move to Breck so count him in as well.

This 100%^

So far we've got 3 people then, definitely don't mind some more, keeps the price lower if we can find a right place, but depending on the size of the place we find, and the number of people interested, spots in the house will go on a first come first serve basis, so get on the list ASAP.

keep me on this list. the breck job hunt is looking good so far.

@Erich, sorry i haven't emailed you back i've been super busy with finals week creeping up on me.

here's my info though

Bryant, 19 years old from Bend, OR, studying digital media at DU currently, hoping to take classes at CMC for spring semester, always clean up after myself if not immediately very soon after the fact, I know what it's like to have a roommate who doesn't and it sucks, don't want that on anyone. 4/20 friendly, don't do it much but always willing to join/pitch. Current time frame is basically right after thanksgiving till whenever (end of season at least).

For whatever reason available housing in Breck is a problem for a lot of people this winter. If I happen across anything I'll post it here first for you guys still looking.

Great idea in this thread. By far this is the best regional forum on the site. Can't wait till I move to summit or eagle.

Bumping this up, I'm up in breck now crashing on a buddies couch, but would really really love to find a place this week and get moving on something...

Just talked to my friend and the place got rented and it was for a 6 month lease dammit! would have been perfect for cramming 8 people in there.

it's fuckin great right! I'm hearing about so many people having trouble finding places to live up here this winter... me included.
