LOOKING FOR GUIDE/PARTNERS IN/AROUND ANCHORAGE,AK

College ends beginning of may, work begins end of may, why not ski in between. Live in Denver, CO but grandparents are in Anchorage, AK. I would be able to use them as a home base and borrow a truck. In search of someone/group who knows the area and would be willing to show me around some BC spots sometime in the month of may. I am new to BC this season but have quite a few days under my belt. Have my AIARE 1, and am a collegiate freeride skier.

Your gonna have better luck asking around on TGR. Those folks would have better info.

Not sure what’s open but sounds like limited rescue available.

Hatcher pass might be a go if you have touring gear but I heard fire season kicked off this week with 120 acre in Wasilla.
