hey guys, need some advice on park skis, I currently have a pair of 130mm full rockered crazy soft folsom custom ski and a pair of trashed moment pb&j i ride in the park. i tried riddding my fat skis in the park and it was super fun so now im looking for a durable thick edged pair of full rockered 95-105 park skis to have for the spring, summer and next season. any recommendations would be sick, im 6'1" and 150lb, and i ride whistler. mostly hitting rails but i like jumps and, i wanna ride resort pow on them too. so preferably pretty stiff under foot but softer in tip and tail.

Inb4 get ON3P Kartel posts come rolling in.

K2 poachers actually sound like what you want, very stiff underfoot but still lots of flex and rocker in the tips. The problem with most of the fat park skis out there is that most of them are complete noodles.

Poachers are waaaaay stiff and camber too. Try to find some icelantic gypsy 95s or 105s. Full rocker and the 95s are very soft!

What are you talking about?

Gypsy 95 and 105 aren't even a thing? If you're talking about the Nomad series, those are cambered not rockered. The Gypsy model (and gypsy skinny or whatever) were discontinued last year I'm pretty sure.

OP, if you you can find a pair of gypsy skinnys they're like 100 underfoot and full rocker. Sounds like what you want.

Did not realize you wanted a full rocker ski and not a hybrid camber + rocker. It's going to be almost impossible to find that ski. A few years ago there were a couple but they're gone now. Rossignol had a full rocker park ski, but they stopped making it because the team riders complained it was too easy to wash out on landings, I think it was around the time they introduced the Slat.

That's exactly my experience trying to ride full rocker in the park. I spent a day riding park on the volkl gotamas and straight airs were fine but throw a spin or hit a hip and there was a 30 percent chance of just washing out for seemingly no reason. After about the sixth time of washing out on a large hip that I normally had no trouble on I decided full rocker was not good in the park. Maybe it would be okay for rails, but I don't do much of that.

You are correct. Im combining models. The gypsy skinny has become the nomad 95s and they added camber. Still crazy soft. The gypsy skinnys were full rocker.

Surface Outsiders are pretty sweet. I've been looking at getting them after seeing Forster Meeks ski them

yup sounds perfect, cant seem to find any for sale though

take a look at the moment pb&j they have a little camber which will help on jumps but also a lot of rocker to keep them playful. they are 101 at the waist sothey will float ok in some light pow. The rocker im sure keeps them playful but they are a bit stiffer underfoot. The edges are 2.2 mm s onot the biggest but still burly.
