Yep that is the vibe I am getting, have been searching for a week with not much luck, anyone renting prefers to go with people who are local.

Thanks for the heads up though, I am on CL and have been checking the local classifieds and what not as well.

Second the fact that you better get on it before it's too late. Moving in October was way easier than moving in November.

There's a Hill Condo studio in the paper for 675 that is worth a gander. I pay 700 for my hill condo studio and it definately hasn't recently remodeled like that one. Keep on Craigslist, thats how I found both of my last two houses. You might also try calling some of the property management places....
