Looking For a Really Fun Ski

I'm looking for a ski that will be really fun and playful all over the hill. I live in the east and this will be my only ski. I'm kinda debating between the Kung Fujas and Elizabeths, but I'm open to other suggestions. I'm 6 feet, 145lbs, suggestions?
 
You're tall but light. If you dont mind NS telling you your skis are too short even when they aren't really then you'll love Lizzies. No rocker will also be slightly better on the ice you guys get (not that Lizzies are great on ice). I loved my first pair sold them, survived one season without and decided there was no ski that lives up to them and so I bought a new pair. Gonna see if I can afford a spare pair at the end of the season as a backup since Line aren't making them again.
 
I'm skiing 163s right now, which are definitely way too short, so I'm not too worried about a 172 being all that short. I forgot to mention that I would be getting the Kung Fujas in a 179 if I choose them.

But anyways, does anyone else have any opinions? What ski will I have the most fun with?
 
The Kung Fujas is not really a playful ski. Lizzies seem to be exactly what you're after! I'm 6'1" and love mine. Not too short for carving the groomers and park jibbing.
 
get surface one lifes in 179. Rocker makes you feel like your riding a shorter ski and they are the most playful ski ever. You can just butter and press anything
 
The rossignol S5's are a dope ski for the east coast. And at 98mm at de waist, they get the job done in the powder.
 
i'm about your size and just ordered 172 surfaces. they are about eye-high. definitely not too short.
i would personally go for the lizzies.
 
178 chronic cyptonite ..little stiffer but a all mountain playful ski thats not gunna wash out on ur big jumps and its a little more versital...even the 178 or 183 blend for more of a versitility that the cyponite if you want more mountain
 
Are you retarded? Fujas are such a playful ski, especially with this years long low profile rocker. That and the softness, and some small camber make them super playful skis. I would MUCH rather have them then Lizzies for a one ski quiver, even if my goal was pow most of the time.

I'd say 179 Fujas, 181 Reno Rockers, or maby JMos(don't know a ton about them, other than that they're 90 some waste and have a low profile tip and tail rocker, and bamboo!)
 
No, I am not retarded. That was my experience after testing the Kung Fujas. They were mounted about 1 cm back from true center, just as my Elizabeths. Compared to the Elizabeths the Kung Fujas felt dead and boring. It's a lot stiffer than the Elizabeth and also carves like shit compared to it. Ok, maybe they should be mounted further back for carving. Oh, and the rocker is rather insignificant on them. You really can't feel it when skiing groomers. It might make butters easier but I'm not sure on even this. The Elizabeths butter way easier anyway.
To me there was nothing playful about the Kung Fujas. A ski that does it all, yes. But so is the Elizabeth. And the Elizabeth is way more fun, so I see it as the better choice here.
