Hello,

I am looking for a new pair of skis for next season and was wondering if anyone can steer me in the right direction for a ski that is primarily for the park.

Heres a little about my skiing ability and what im looking for

-Im 5'11 and 170 lbs and am 15 years old

-I would consider my self an expert when it comes to downhill skiing but Im looking to get more into the park

-Im not a great park skier but can land 3's consistently and jib fairly decent

-I would prefer a ski with a flex of around 5 in the tips and tail

-I would also like the ski to be half-decent in hardpack and glades

-I would like a pretty forgiving, lightweight ski

-And I would prefer price point to be $600(w/o bindings) and below

Ask any additional questions below

Thanks in advance

with the stability you want along with soft flex, i reccomend the faction 1.0 which are pretty soft flex and extremely stable on jumps. al dente is soft, but it has lame stability on large jumps, also carving sucks on al dente or any soft rockered ski; rossignol slat, al dente,... the candide 1.0 is also super lightweight, it is very light actually in reference to your standard ski. i prefer a ski that carves like a race ski, the candide 1.0 is probably what you are looking for plus you can get it for 400$ on many online ski stores.

I've got a pair of Line Chronics and they are pretty good all round for messing about with in the park.

They will kick up snow on the groomers, so watch out for that ;)

you might like the rossignol storm, or maybe armada al dente?

yeah the aldentes or the bdogs i would go bdogs for riding more rails and all mountain. ive also heard a small rumor that the aldentes flex is really weird and since the tips are more flexy than the rest of the ski it feels uneven to ride.
