i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on a good ski that can hold up in pretty much anything doesnt need to be great in the park just something that can blow through crud, float decently on pow and has good stability.
Thanks much appreciated

location-rhode island home mtn -wachuseett (mostly groomers and crud no pow really)age-14height- 5'11'' weight-135ability- intermediate/advanced (beginner park)

for the skiing hes doing? id say nothing bigger than a 177. maybe ARV's, 2012's, Chronic Cryptonites or Kung Fujas

If he's 14 and 5'11, dudes still growing, he might outgrow something that size over the summer. I'd go 180 at least.

valid point... but if he wants to progress in the park id still recommended something under 180. but if your just looking for something that will kill pow, be real nice on groomed, and okay in the park 185ish would be a good size.

definately line blends. just demoed them the other week, they rip! other wise try the line sir francis bacons. they are a very similar shape but with more rocker and width. They are both all mountain skis except the blends are orientated to more park whilst the bacons are more orientated towards pow.

hope this helps
