Looking for a good shop-New to area

I will be moving down to Salt Lake for school next month and I am looking for good ski shops. I am familiar with the Salt Lake valley but I do not yet know all of the best spots. Specifically, I am looking to get new boots (somewhere that carries Dalbello) and somewhere that can fit them professionally, without ripping me off. Any info would be appreciated, thanks

Either a shop up at alta or sports den in the valley. The crew at sports den is hit or miss from what I've found.

Sports Den is pretty nice for in the valley. Brad, Luke, Cody, and Roy are all legit fitters. In PC I'd recommend "dude" at Cole Sports. Both of those shops carry Dalbello.

sports den hands down. as posted above, have one of them fit you. Roy and his brother have helped my family out for years with outstanding results

If for some reason you get up to PC and need gear, PowderHounds is a great newschool store, also Jans has everything you want. But for no reason should anyone ever go to Cole's - dudes there talk down to you like its part of their job.

In terms of boot fitting go to Inkline on 33rd absolutely no questions asked. Awesome guys and they know their shit, and they will not rip you off

Since youre from Washington as well id like to give you the hookup and...

wait I still have no fucking idea, guess I should fly back to seattle to get my next mount?~

2nd Tracks is a great spot to start as others have said to buy the boot. As far as fitting goes, several guys on this forum told me to go to Inkline Foot Science (conveniently located right next to 2nd tracks). They put me into a new liner/footbed as well as did some custom work on my boot and I couldn't be happier. They do an amazing job and I'll never go anywhere else for bootfitting any more.
