Looking at new ski from Coreupt

Hey guys! Looking at getting a new ski for park but a little all mountain, I don't hit rails so thats not a big concern. The situation is I'm a big guy I'm 5'11" and 200 lbs so I want a little wider ski. I was deciding between the TJ ski in a 173 and the candide pow in a 175. (i know I ride a lil short of a ski but I like it) Now I live in Michigan so not a ton of pow but I do like to hit it when I can. Let me know what your guys think and if you have ridden either throw out what you think. By the way my all everyday ski is kung fujas so that might play a factor in a decision. Thanks a lot
 
i was thinking the yard but I really like my fujas and thought the maybe the pow being wider might be fun a for a bigger guy. I would consider the pow or yard really. I know sometimes wider skis are fun in the park too
 
I'm now hear that coreupt run short.... is this true? should I be looking at like 183 instead of 173 if now I ride 176 suspects and 179 Fujas (really like 184s)
 
DAM!! I guess then I'm looking at 181candide yards, and 183 Tj's, and 175 candide pow. the 175 pows might be fun to try as a park ski for bigger guys
 
102 Isn't half bad, have you looked at the Line anthem, basically a park and all-mtn ski. 93 in the waist and you can get it for under 300$
 
after doing a lot of research I think the anthems look like a great ski too.... better then the coreupt and seems to have positive feedback
 
Just looking at all the feedback from people on here coreupt has some iffy reputation by some people, maybe it's all prior to them taking over and making all there skis instead of using dynastars with different top sheets. Just leaves me a little uneasy but I haven't heard much bad about the anthems at all. A few things but seems like everything was warrantied with no problems. This ski will be more of a park ski then an all mountain ski anyways. I still got my kung fujas for everything else. I really would want to hold and feel a coreupt ski before buying it ya know.
 
Yea, I feel that's really important to hold a ski and play around with it before buying. I have the Yard and Schiller at my shop so it's all good
 
stop telling people that they are identical. they really are not the same i have skied both now and they ski completely different. Schiller is symmetrical Candide is not. Candide has wayyyyyyy more pop and Schiller is way stiffer. So please don't tell people they are the same when you have not skied either and there both just in your shop
 
Well aside from pop and the fact that the candide isn't fully symmetrical, they are not that different according to the guy who was helping me. Anyways since you've ridden both now...which one do you prefer.
 
yah yohaass, please enlighten us/me. i really want either candides or tjs and would love to get your perspective on which is the better park ski
 
I preferred the TJ's more because they where a stiffer which was awesome for landing and what not. Also the larger sizes of the tj's was a big advantage. The TJ was also more stable going switch into jumps. Also the TJ has wider dimensions which is a personal preference because thats just more surface area to land on (even though the TJ is only like 5 mm wider) Finally the TJ being symmetrical made rails a little more easier to grease. However at really high speeds the yard preformed slightly better and playing around on rails (switch ups and spin outs) where easier on the yard. Both skis where similar in weight however which is very light. If you have any further questions hit me up. Defiantly buy one of the two though you cant go wrong with either.
 
I can tell you so many things bad with the anthems but the performance is great. The quality is absolute shit and the topsheets tear off like no other. I got mine in November and the laminate is basically gone and the wood is showing like half an inch along both skis. Performance wise they're great but the quality is terrible
 
word dude have fun on them! you will kill it!! and one more thing the extra pop on yards is nice on slow days when no one can clear big line
 
yea that was the idea. It's nice to have one member who's ridden both skis, cause there is tooo many threads on both these skis. Thanks a lot +k
