I don't get the animosity. We all have fun riding on snow. Some of us like skiing, some riding, some both. Some of us like baggy clothes, others like to keep it slim. Some like bright ass colors, others rep the all black steez. I think its all about attitude and how you ride on the hill.

There is no need to get all explosive, we should be encouraging borrowing from other sports if it makes our experience more fun.

I am not defending the snowboarders, but some of those pics have been getting ripped on by fellow NSers anyway. Who cares what snowboarders think?
 
They just happened to come across the goofiest pics... Ming looks good imo and his g-suit isn't really that big even... but the rest are mostly ridiculous, keep it above the knees.

It has been said before but all those kids that theya re hating on, WE hate on here on NS for looking so dumb. Some people just take it to the extreme and like someone said on that forum, wear garbage bags because that shit is so baggy, and really never allows you to move. Whoper Senior : Lauged my ass off when i saw this on newschoolers. I'm a skier btw (gonna get flamed) but I'm tired of looking at that thread lol. I think in the whole thread of 30 pages ive seen 2 guys who actually looked good. Btw, what do you guys think bout skiers who wear burton? No i don't wear long ass dress stuff, just normal fit (a little baggy) and i rly like the look of the burton 2010 stuff. If i post anything regarding burton on NS i get hella flamed, so now i'm here, seeking refuge from "uber steeze" 12 year olds whose outerwear looks like its holding what their pet elephant shat out earlier that morning.

All those posts on how we look stupid is all a matter of opinion and you can't really do much about that people will always hate no matter what. BUT the people that are posting stupid ignorant posts, not knowing what the hell they are talking about makes me flip a shit. The guys going off on stupid rants, not know what the hell they are saying, kinda reminds me of a scene from Jay and Silent Bob where they print off all the addresses of all the people that were talking shit about them, and they go and beat them up.

quite honestly i completely agree with them. some of those guys look fucking retarted. i cant tell if theyre actually serious or not. one guy had jiberish to like mid shin level. as for the guy saying he would get flamed for asking about burton on ns, i respect them as an outerwear company, they have some quality products, just im not a big fan of their style, because all the gapers usually buy burton and you dont want to be wearing the same thing as a gaper would you.
 
i would disagree with you. there is no way slopestyle skiing would exist without snowboarding. park skiing started with skiers sneaking into snowboard only terrain parks. if it wasnt for that, wed all be skiing moguls.
