Not really thread worthy but whatever. So today I was cruisin a groomer and just havin a jolly ol' time. I jumped on to a little side run and bam a snowboarder knocked me out. Two hours of pain, dizziness, and a hospital visit later; i learn i have a concussion and i cracked rib. The moral of the story; LOOK UPHILL. Have a safe season NS.
 
i'm pretty sure people should be looking out whats for whats in front of them. i.e. they should have avoided you. but lots of people are stupid and crash into people anyway.
 
technically the downhill skier has the right away, but i hate when people traverse across a busy ass trail
 
Wouldnt it be look downhill? If you looked uphill you would just be looking at where you already rode.
 
I like to employ the Ferrari technique. On Top Gear they were talking about some new special edition Ferrari and it had a rear view mirror that folded down. When they asked Ferrari about it, they said something to the effect of "We're basically saying that in this car, you don't need to see behind you most of the time, because you are going faster than everything else."
So just go faster than everyone else and you'll be cool.
 
i took out some guy real hard the other day cuz he was crossing under a roller and didn't look up! nothing i could do i was bookin and tried to stop but bamm!!! shit went flying everywhere haha

good thing no one got hurt surprisingly.
 
yeah this happened to me too i did a little hand draggy 1 off a roller and the instant my feet hit the ground (switch) i collided with a snowboarder going straight across the hill and hidden completely by the mound of snow
