Look px18 or marker jester for a wide ski...

i went to my local shop today to size up so bindings for my new ep's. so im 5''6-7 ish, weight about 185 190 and ride at 12 - 13 din (big mountain) so i was looking at marker jesters or px18's (old style all metal turn table heal).

although a powder jib ski i like to have as much responce as possible as do like tech lines, so i wanted to go for the marker with its power width design '''http://www.skiandsnowboardequipment.com/Jester-Binding/p/SS1100 '''. and everybody seems to love them. however i have always loved the px 18's so i wanted to see how much wider the mounting pattern was on the jesters.

well its not its 2.8 mm narrower on the toe piece and the same width's on average on the heel piece. to say the least i was a little disapointed by this. have i over looked some thing here???

no dought the jester's are incredible bindings i have then on my amplids and love them. but am wondering weather to make the switch for jesters from px's for the cost of 300 bucks.

help a brother out with some info.

i have jesters on my ep pros. they work perfectly.

and for the power widh design... you need to look at the widh of the plate that mounts on your skis, not just where the holes are...

more metal = more weight. also, i wouldn't say that jesters are going to break in a second, but px18s are known for their durability

I have P 18s on my ON3P Caylors. They are 121 at waist. I only have one day on them but so far I am happy with them
