Look pivots or tryolia attacks

Does anyone know the weight of these bindings? Which one is heavier or is it not a big difference. I skied pivots last year and loved them but got poachers this year which are already a lot heavier and preety sure pivots are the heaviest binding?

According to the websites of each manufacturer the weights are as follows:

Attack 13 - 2070g

Attack 16 - 2240g

Pivot 12 - 2210g

Pivot 14 - 2230g

The 16/17 Attack 13s, the non grip-walk model, were lighter ~1700g and the 16/17 Attack 16s were ~1816g but I'm not sure if that includes brakes.

So the weight difference is not as great as in the past but still lighter. Now I guess the main selling point for the attacks is price, can be had for around $150.

Love the older attacks. Hate that everything is going towards gripwalk. They ruined the low profile toe on the new attacks by adding that. The new toe is so wide not its goofy looking.

When you are considering either bindings over a 150g difference in weight rather than the $150 difference in price.

the attack13s with GW next year are 189 while the pivot 12s are 219. i dont see $150 in the math there.

Agreed. I'm seeing pivot 12s for $209 and attack 13s for $150, probably last years, just did a quick search. Though if you save $60 on bindings that may be enough for a buyer looking at the low end of the market to make a jump to a higher quality ski?

i like the the look pivots (or the dildo binding as my friends call it) but it takes some time getting used to taking skis on and off. the WTR shit is complete stupid, how many people need it? i try to never get wtr, it adds a couple mm to the stand height and some extra weight. i think you would be happy with both of them, so just go for the one you think looks the best aesthetically. the pivot is a little heavier though, so if you are looking for something lighter go for the attack.
