Look pivots are the lamest ski product.

People love spending more than they have to on bindings that are trash af. If you bought pivots to protect your acl you are an idiot. I love seeing these lame ass skiers have to perfectly center their bindings for them to pop off after hitting a mogul or rail. The cost of pivots alone can just go to your acl surgery, and the price of replacement brakes can go the physical therapy. And to all the lames that have rasta pivots and don’t hit the blunt go back to the race team. Pivot people just get an erection when somebody compliments their stupid color way. There is no evidence a person can show me that will change my mind on this. I stand with the other brand that have bindings for half the price.

Man one day when you get a little older and have some real problems to deal with youll realize how dumb this sounds lmao

If you pay msrp for pivots you're doing it wrong. Also I have multiple ~15 year old pairs that I use regularly without issues. Try that with a tyrolia

Rage bait. For anyone actually wanting a good deal on pivots, just refresh Bobleisure weekly. Never pay more than 250 for brand new 15s ever again

Yea you have multiple pairs over 15 years meaning you’re buying multiple and spreading your use over different sets, so it’s not actually 15 years of wear and tear.

you literally can’t do that with Tyrolia Attacks because they actually make technological innovations so every iteration is different and improved from the previous generation.

pivots have been the same old design for the past 40 years, so it’s pretty easy to say ‘I’ve been using these for 15 years’, when they don’t do anything to improve. (i.e. pivot 2.0 changes a few dimensions in the heel piece, new colorway, and no change in performance at all)

Ya but that’s only the forza. Bobs has typically every color option. They’ve been selling the 2.0 as well for $331. Just raised to $341. I bought my black 18’s from Corbetts but had to swap the brakes since they’re only 75

Bobs pretty legit? Haven’t heard of them until this post and I’m in the market for pivots.

Never spent over 250$ on pivots once and they're like the Toyota of ski bindings and will run forever, especially the older ones

Yeah forza and black 18s are all they have left cause the 15s all sold for $189 back in the spring.

Good analogy. Not the top performing binding in the market but the one you can rely on the most in most situations.

wrong because everything is about looks not performance but I'll admit "The cost of pivots alone can just go to your acl surgery" is a pretty funny line

There is a line of thought that the wings the turntable(including pivots and old marker MRRS)heel piece mount to lead to higher acl injury risk than other bindings.

Look can charge what ever they want. they could make them 1000 dollars and spoiled kids would still get them cuz they look cool

I wish i could agree, but i have come to the conclusion that they are the best out. I have two pairs of tyrolias that both prerelease and the toe pad have to be recalibrated all the time, i had a pair of sth that i loved, but they broke and they don’t make them anymore, i have broken countless griffons. The only other binding i would trust is one of the older griffons from 2010, those fuckers were indestructible

Your tyrolias were just adjusted incorrectly which is exactly why you should not mount your own bindings unless you’re a certified technician.

if Colby Stevenson can win gold in the Olympics on tyrolia attacks, then I’m sure you can handle a few blue runs and kiddy park laps.

Tell me how to adjust them.

i had a pair of deadbolt 15s which was an attack with 4frnt rasta branding on it. it was so fuckin sick for the half day it remained intact. then the right toe wing decided to leave the chat mid kink rail. sooooo, ya know, fuck em lol.

You made the right choice. Pivots are better

Meh,

I have both. I can't see/feel the pivots really do anything better except look cooler.
