I'm thinking about buying a pair of Look Pivot 12 bindings. I heard from someone that if you land backseat that they are really dangerous.

Is this true?

i don't know nothing about the dangerousness, i'm on my second pair and they are great bindings. and creatively enough, the lifters lift the bindings off the skis a little bit so you can turn better.

never heard of the rear seat thing. the lifter is a plate that lifts the bindings off of the ski.

Titanya: But Duff Man, you said if I slept with you I wouldn't have to touch the drink!

Duff Man: Duff Man... says a lot of things! Oh, yeah!

in my opinion, these are the best bindings on the market for a freestyle skier. Look figured out the whole landing backwards thing without even knowing it. Most bindings are on a rack and pin system, the looks are on a big screw system, so the heal peice will never move, unless you use a screw driver. As to them being dangerous for landing in the back seat, i have not heard of any problems with this. Get a pair of these and you will not regret it.
