Look Pivot 12 Maximum Weight?

Just got a pair of j skis whipits (the lightning ones) which look sick, but i need a pair of bindings and the pivot 12s look sick with the black and they're not that expensive. I was just wondering what the maximum weight would be for them because i heard they were for younger or lighter riders. I weigh about 75kg with my gear on. On my old marker griffons i rode a 9 din, would these hold up for about 70/30 all mountain jibbing/park?

Cheers for any help!

Most of us here at the shop ride Pivot 12s and they hold up great all over the mountain. You're nowhere near being heavy enough to max out their weight capacity.

Why are you deciding what binding you're going to get based on colour? They're just going to get scratched to shit anyway.

However they should be fine for you, 75KG is not to heavy for a 12 DIN binding, it is completely fine. I'd only consider shelling out a bit more and bumping up to a 14+ DIN binding if you throwing big tricks or hucking big cliffs.

You won't go wrong the FKS/Pivots, STH2's, or Attacks.

The black does look way sweeter than the white and it's not just going to scratch away. Mine are still completely black after their first season. Plus you don't need a 14 din, you're barely going to need a 10 din. Definitely go with the 12s over the 14s.

im on 12/13 max dins on all my skis...have never had an issue with pre release or releasing in general at all and i weight right around 173 give or take depending on the day/waht I eat.
