Look bindings or Marker bindings

I got a pair of surface watch lifes and have been debating what pair of bindings to slap on them. From what i've been told from the local shop guy is that the Marker Jesters are the best bindings out there but he also wants 350 bucks for them. I look at tramdock for a little while every day and noticed that a lot of LOOK bindings and rossingal bindings go through there. So my questions are

1. What binding would you recomend?

2. are rossingal and dynastar both made by LOOK bindings?

3. Do the lifts on bindings really effect the ride and control?

INFO: I'm 6'5 230 and mostly jib around the mountain

1. Jesters are probably one of the bests out there (besides FKS/Pivots)2. Yes, Look, Dynastar, and Rossi are all pretty much the same bindings3. No, not really, they don't do much at all.

1. I have jesters on all my skis, and have never had a problem with any of them, even with the ones that are 2 seasons old. best bindings ive ever owned well worth 350 if you have the money in my opinion2. Rossi, Dynastar, Look are all the same binding3. No, although some people like it some people dont

the lifts help for carving and tighter turns if your mainly park it doesnt matter but if your into powder or just riding they would work

I have Jesters and Griffons and I have NEVER had a problem. I love the bindings. I have always loved Marker. None of my friends have ever had issues with their Griffons or Jesters and we all ride pretty hard.

Getboards.com has them for $240

Evo has em for $300

Backcountry I'm not sure how much they are here

Last years models will be cheaper though

Yeah youre wrong. The wings and heel are metal in the jester, plastic in the lower din models.

Also, fuck the old ones, then new ones have fixed the problems with lack of toe height adjustment.

Depends how hard you ride. I'm going to say yes because of your size, but more info needed really.

PX15's ok, but i think jesters are better. Both will work fine for what your looking for. Look on skis.com they have solly 914 Labs for like $200. Same binding as the STH16 but 14 din from from i can tell. Much better choice than both the PX and the Jesters.

you are a big guy, you definitely want at least a 14din bindings. Jesters would be great, px14/15. The 15s have more metal and a better toe. FKS155 are great, no wide break options beside bending. STH 16s.

Well the new ones will have a wide option, some of the old ones did have wide brakes though.

I have some sth16s and some 916s. See if you can find the 916s. Like ten times more durable. Pretty heavy, but if youre concerned about binding weight and your size, then grow up.

Are the wins on the griffons plastic? They seemed like they were metal on my griffons. Or they are really dense plastic. But the heel supports are plastic versus metal on the jester.

Honestly, it doesn't really matter. Any solid 14 or so din binding would be perfect. Look at the list in the binding thread at the top. Personally im a big fan of any solly with the driver toe(STH16, Lab 914, 916), FKS, and Tyrolia Peaks but i know tonnes of people who swear by jesters and PX's ect.
