I look around here and see some amazing things happening. this site has come a long way since I joined. There are new people joining everyday and our sport is really progressing! As long as we continue to follow snowboarding it can only continue. I think someday we may even see snowboarders switch over and start skiing. I just love being a newschooler. What do you guys think (both new members and us veterans)?

 
Actually, I know lots of people are switching over from boarding to skiing. How can they not?

wow I just realized I joined in 2002 I feel so old now, and yea I have seen snowboarders who are going to skiing or doing a little bit of both becasue of the way skiing is progresign

and swirly... crazy isn't it? We have been on here for days. hah. I remember hearing about newschoolers when it first came out. Wish I would've started an account then.. then I would be in the under 1k club. ah well. 7k works for me.

Yeah, the end of 2002 there was a huge surge.

It had been a steady few thousand members for a while, and then all at once members more than doubled.

it was so much more of a community way back when which was really great but whatever progress is mostly good and skiing as well as this site defintly needed it.

I have been around since 2002 with various user names that I forgot all the passwords to. Back then I didn't even know about the forums, all I did was look at pictures and and stuff. The progression is great, but all the assholes that come on here everyday kind of outweigh the decent people.

I hate it because it looks like it should be called the Prison Shower.

newschool skiing is definitly on an upswing - its obvious - every year the ski shops sell more twins.

Our little pennsylvania mesage board has more skiers than snowboarders for example.. not sure why though..
