brighton is lowering their season pass price for next season. and with the whole issue of not building jumps till late in the season, these guys get real mad. all they want is park, so go to canyons or pc. brighton isnt known for having a great park. they are more known for the big mountain riding, powder, and easy back country access. dont get me wrong, park is fun and all. but i would rather go ride something else, explore a little, find new places. riding park is for the most part, the same run over and over again. to me, gets kinda boring. no hate on park riding what so ever. it just doesnt make sense to me, if you want park, go to a resort that is known for making a bad ass park. dont go to a resort known for powder. plus i bet these bitches dont even know the reason why brighton didnt build jumps for a good amount of the season. no hate on park riding, just hate on the people who bitch and complain. haha and plus, check out the 5th comment down...

ha what you have to remember about park is that yea it is the same run but trying new things is crazy fun, and also im happy i work there free pass ha but thats sick they are lowering the price and we will have jumps earlier next season which will be nice with the park passes and all.
 
their park IS decent tho. people are expecting their park to be like park citys or the canyons. and that is not what brighton is. their park is mos definitly NOT SHITTY. they have good rails and jibs, the only thing people want, are jumps. and dude to the recent lawsuit it was hard for brighton to get jumps set up.
 
brighton used to be known for their park, but fell-off somewhere along the way. my question for brighton is whats the point of building a pipe and jumps if you're gonna make'em crappy. at snowbird realised they didn't know what the fuck they were doing when it came to park building and gave up on a big or medium sized park.
 
Yeah people were really mad about that, Everyone from the East who rode there who I know, (including me) loved the park though. By far the most fun/good/interesting/unique rails I've ever ridden. Plus you get to ride with some of the sickest snowboarders pretty much any day you go there... Brighton's park kicks ass
 
almost 50% off ha but the jumps they have up right now are actually very nice and their rail and jib setup is way fun lots to choose from, they finally have got their shit together and i cant wait to see what happens next year i think they are building a small beginner park as well
 
this season they were $500 preseason sale, then went up to $600. thats a good price for next season...
 
Reasons why Brighton is fucking awesome:

1.Better set up, more fun jibs than PC

2.Better "vibe", as in, more relaxed atmosphere than PC

3.Unbelievable terrain on a pow day.

Reason why I don't have a pass to Brighton:

1. No jumps. (at least til late in the year)

Anyone who hates on Brighton is a complete moron. They got sued and fucked over, hence, no jumps til late in the season. Brighton is the most fun resort I've been to in Utah. But OP is right if you want yumps go to PC
 
half the people who ride there, mainly kids under 18 who board, talk mad shit on PC and the canyons. But in reality, they are just to "pooosy" to hit their jumps and thats why they stick to gypsie land no lip brighton. i only have a pass to brighton for the pow. their park is a joke
 
yeah but think about it, if your skiing in the cottonwoods and don't want to go to the other side (pc/canyons) a brighton pass is a good deal cuz then you can still ski a halfway decent park (solitudes park is a joke, snowbirds park blows, alta doesnt have one) so it's legit. and brightons park isn't bad they just need to get some nice jumps in there. no doubt it's still mad fun though, despite the hoardes of gypsy boarders.
 
The only thing i hate is people complaining about no lips.. fucking pussies is it really that hard to jump.. yeah they dont upkeep the park as good as other places but the jibs are sick and they always have something creative set up.. If you dont like it go somewhere else stop bitching.. and people that feel like they got screwed out of jumps cant blame it on brighton. They said there weren't going to be jumps long before the season started.
