Look at my fucking shins

looks like a worm trying to dig into your skin... that's gross dude, have that checked out before you go out skiing again. u might get it infected with all the sweat and rubbing going on inside your boot.

I had the same problem a couple of years ago when using a crappy pair of rental boots, tore my shins up something special, I skied with a large padded plaster on both shins until it was healed up which did help, was still a bit painful though. Can't see why it would happen in this situation though. If you do put anything sticky on your shin make sure you shave it to fuck though, I forgot to and it hurt like a bitch taking the plaster off. As someone else said, I'd get a boot fitter to take a look at your shins and boots to see if they can spot anything wrong. Hope it heals up quick.

Im sorry but how much of a nubend do you have to be?
It's not rocket science that it all goes on the outside.....
All you should have in a boot is your sock..... even tucking thermals can be bad for you.

if i were you id wait for the shit to heal, but that would suck because it would take like a week or 2. you don't want to keep reopening it that would suck some pretty big dick...

Definitely inspect your liners and your new tongues check for anything in the area that could of caused this.

I dont think so either. It healed mad fast since it didnt actualy break the skin, but a scab still formed to protect it.

You not serious about tasting your leg pus right? If it really does taste sweet and tangy you should patent that shit, obvious_TROLL's Steeze Sauce, giving your chicken afterbang since 2009.

It's so obvious what happened here. Full Tilts right? Didn't they pack Tanner's Full Tilts with TNT? You must have got a little in yours too. It detonated causing the damage to your shins and now that it's gone, everything's cool. Next time you buy a pair of Full Tilts, have the bomb squad check them out first.

my shins felt like the hair was getting ripped out the first day this year too, but not that bad ahahha

honestly. booster straps! your problem is probably that your shins still push heavily into the tongue of the boot. booster straps will fasten the boot very tightly to your shins to prevent any movement whatsoever (without cutting off circulation of course) there only around 40 bucks and you can get the FIS World cup grade ones or the normal ones. after i started using them i said bye bye to ripped up shins and shin bang

my leg hairs hurt after i ski... never bleed or anything, just really sensitive... i've been considering shaving my shins for winter... thats the only advice i can think of giving you

Hahahahahahahaha I can't stop laughing hahahaha.

This happened to me last weekend, but not to that degree. Holy shit that's gross. Just a little red and felt raw, like a bad chafe. I guess it's called shin BITE (not bang). Not sure if it was my socks or leggings that I was wearing, or new boots but it hurt. Almost like the feeling you would get if you tucked your pants in your boots, so I'm betting it was the socks since they were a little thicker. Considering cutting my leggings so they don't go below my boot cuff. I did have my boots super tight, so any friction was probably amplified.

Oh dude, you 100% have to cut your long underwear if it goes under the boot. That or just buy 3/4 length. Then invest in super baller ski socks.

You'll still lose all the hair on your shins if you ride enough, but I've never had anything close to that bad happen to me.

Google. Was reading about shin bang, which I obviously got cuz I was a scrub riding in the backseat, but also saw the term shin bite on google, and then saw this thread....had to comment because that is gross. My shins are just a little red/raw like chafing.

The search function on NS sucks in quite an epic fashion. I would have never found it with that. Perhaps they should consider powering their search bar with Google.

I always just roll them up so that it ends right above the boot. I guess I'm lucky.

Yeah I mean you can do that too, just depending on how tight it is it can get a bit bunchy. If you cut them, you never have to worry about it.
