Longer skis and spinning.

I just got Sir Francis Bacon skis in the 178 length and I have not skied them yet but I have been on Rossignol junior S7 skis in the 160 length. I mounted my bacons with Marker Squire's and I haven't skied them yet but they do feel a lot heavier as far as swing weight This won't throw me off much will it? I walked around my house with them on and compared to my skis. The thing is I mounted them about 3.5cm behind center and my old skis were far behind center so skiing switch wasn't all that stable but I can't wait to see how these feel switch with there being a solid 5 inches of extra length in the back. I am not doing any more than a 360 for now but I do sometimes have trouble getting the 3 all of the way around and I am trying to clean them up and make them smoother, should I use my old skis until I get 3's down pat or will it be easier on my new ones with a more balanced swing weight and everything.

Thanks

You're going to be fine, it might just take some getting used to.

I am able to spin a 5 on my 194 powder skis, and they're pretty heavy.

a center(ish) mount will reduce swing weight a ton and they will probabaly not really even feel that much different. center mount makes them more balanced and swing weight will barely affect you
