Longboarding West Ottawa/Kanata?

Anyone know of any good places to longboard in Ottawa?

Preferably stuff on the West end or Kanata but if there's any really sick hills or other places around Ottawa I'd love to hear about them.

Looking for hills, nice pavement, fun cool features, whatever. Preferably in places without a lot of traffic.

my brother goes up in the gatineau lots. some great hills on the park roads. at one point he had his friend on a bike with a speedometer and on a hill near pink lake they managed to top 90. or so he claims.

I'm calling the biggest load of bullshit on that EVER. You know how fast 90km/h is....The world landspeed record is somewhere around 100km/h so your brother is full of shit. Not to mention even getting a bike up to 90km/h is a feat itself...and for that reason Im out.

i'm calling BS on the 90kmh as well, although there are some pretty fun hills in gatineau.

btw the speed record is 130 kmh, something that is hard for me to even think about doing.

i'm interested to know of any good places too, maybe try silverfish? do they have regionals? ill try in a bit.

Old Carp Road hill from 2nd line down to March is too much fun, it even has a smoke house at the top with chairs. Several other kanata NSers and I mob it frequently. Younge rd and John Gooch park (jokes as shit, I know) are good. Katimavik road hill is also fun, its really new and smooth and it has a paved shoulder atleast 8ft wide, with a bunch of drainage things, fun to play around on
