Longboard sponsor video

I stand by my statement, but really, why dont you just send you video to some companies and find out for yourself. Sounds like a much better idea then asking a bunch of skiers.
 
God damn long boarding is fucking gay. The only way it's cool to longboard is if you are in full leathers ripping down a mountain road sliding hairpins. This kid is like a fucking wack ballerina on that awkward ass board.
 
Shuv its are actually a very common trick in longboarding. Although the shooting was pretty terrible and the lens was messed up, the kid was actually very good.
 
Stop doing this in every longboard thread jesus. Thrasher is covering downhill skateboarding events now. If Phelps has been persuaded to the gnarlyness of this sport then I think its time you opened your mind a bit bud.
 
No. You're just being close minded. Saying skateboarding is cool and longboarding is not, is like saying park skiing is cool and backcountry is not. There are people in both categories that are gnarly as fuck.....but there are also people in both that are huge pussies.
 
Park skiing and back country skiing are both incredible. That is a terrible analogy.

A better analogy to compare skateboarding and longboarding with skiing could be

What's cooler? a guy tossing a cork 7 on normal park skis or on snowblades?

skateboards are to longboards like skis are to snowblades.

and to back up my statement, "put him on a real skateboard and see how "good" he really is." is honestly such a good point. Because I can hop on a longboard and do every trick he did in that video. All his slides, his shuvs, big spins and his lame ass ballerina walking.

He can't get on a skateboard and do an iota of what I can do on a skateboard.

Are you implying that he's on a fake skateboard? Because that is absolutely not the case. He is on a longboard, not a skateboard. They are different things.

Everyone I know that longboards also has a street deck as wel and so do I. Ones better for one function and the other is better for another function.
 
That first statement is entirely opinion. Off a decent sized jump, it would be much more difficult to land on snow blades. I would love to see you do everything he did in that video....please post a video and show us your "skills". Also you have no idea how good he is on a Popsicle deck. Every longboarders I know tries to be chill with skateboarders. 99% of the time skateboarders are being the douchebags. That's in my community at least. And you sure as hell are being the douchebag in this situation. Sorry for the wall of text, on mobile.
 
exactly, longboards are for going super fast and powerslides, not dancing on them and doing sketchy-ass manuals and shuvits
 
This is your opinion you whiny cunt. I don't even longboard;however, I'm sure I take part in a activity you probably wouldn't like. You know why? Because not everybody has the same ideas as you. You need to post a video of you being equally as good on a longboard or never be respected again. IMO

this i would like to see. thanks for the criticism guys. ill work on my filming for sure. and we are now in contact with a few different sponsors but nothing is a done deal yet.
 
not gonna lie all this flippy floppy bullshit on longboards looks pretty wack. bombing hills is cooler in my opinion. but this kid is good and i can respect that
 
Put up or shut up. You talk all this game about how you can do this on a longboard but you will never put up a video of you doing anything cool on one. Or quit bitching.
