haha.. Really though, why would you spend so much more on a longboard alone when you could get that penny for a fraction and have so much more portability and style!
hand made of maple, and then a Cedar top sheet, made locally in York, Maine i visited their shop they have in Portsmouth, NH and the quality and look of these boards are so sick.
Get a Rayne or Landyatchz if you're serious about wanting to bomb hills & not die. Get a loaded if you want something cruizy & can do tricks with. Stay away from Sector9 they suck on hills, and are for posers in general.
i have a loaded tan tien but i got it too flexy for intense shredding. still so much fun for flying through neighborhoods and dicking around. my sector 9 puerto rico is a dope little board for commuting and smaller hills if you know how to carve to control speed, handle drifting around turns, and can ride out wobbles. i still love it you just can't go that fast.
get something that's pretty stiff and low to the ground for a first one
BROHAM, You come here often broski? Sick polo by the way, man they should totally play better music, not this gay hipster shit, totes agree with you on Macklemore Brobama...
I've been riding a 2012 Wolfshark (Landyachtz), and it's a sick DH/Freeride topmount. I'm guessing you want a cruiser. ARBOR ARBOR ARBOR ARBOR ARBOR ARBOR ARBOR ARBOR ARBOR ARBOR ARBOR ARBOR ARBOR ARBOR ARBOR ARBOR ARBOR ARBOR ARBOR ARBOR. A shorter pintail or the axis. Dopeass boards and the owner is chill as fuck.
I had an apex 40, then I sold it because I hated it so much. I got it for freeride/freestyle and the nose/tail were next to useless. The concave was also uncomfortable and it didn't feel strong at all. Ridiculously overpriced too
loaded dervish for sure. iv had 2 they rip down steeps and are fun for just cruzin. mad expensive new tho. if u want iv got one for sale 100 bucks off, ridden maybe 4 times. pm for details
i gotta landyachtz switch 41.. solid board but i only used it a couple times.. unfortunately i got out of longboarding and burned out soon after i bought this board): I could sell it for a good price so pm me if you interested in pics and specs on trucks and wheels etc...
the axis is a great cruiser and carver but the low amount of concave makes it a bit sketch to slide with. I have a axis and its great to go around town with and carve on the hills with.
Check out Drang. They are a local Utah company that make sick boards ad are a great price and fully customizable down the the wood type they use in the board and you grt to choose one of like 40 different contour shapes.
