Since I have been been working my ass off working and have gained some cash I thought I'd get some new camera equipment. Overall my edits just consist of follow cams with the glide cam and thats it. I bought my self a pretty decent fluid head tripod and was going to buy a lens for distant filming.

Somethin like this possibly

Im rockin a GH4 now and have been looking for some zoom lens. To cut it short pretty much every lens thats 100mm for micro 4/3 has no in depth reviews or videos using the lens.

So as always when you don't have an answer you come to the skill boys on ns.

Any recommendation? Could be down to get a lens adapter if it comes down to it. Trying to stay around $1,000

Thanks boys. Much thanks

You could spend a shit ton of money and drop $1000

orrrrrr...

You could spend anywhere between $50 and $200 and get a super sharp vintage lens that adapts to m 4/3 easily

Back when I shot a GH2 I used a Nikkor 80-200 and it worked really well. The caveat is that you need an adapter ring with a tripod mount, since mounting your camera body to the tripod will lead to an unusably shaky image (unless you have a rail system locked down).

200mm w/ m43 crop + 2x sensor crop mode => 800mm effective range.
