Who here does it. I'm jus starting to get into it. I got a board today.... its super fun but kinda hard at the same time.

Skate or surf? I do both, and both are awesome. Skating ain't to hard, it is all about style. Layback slides, drop knee turns, and crazy walks all over the board are so much fun. Bomb Hills, Not Countries

yeah once you get your balance right and everything, the smooth style is next. it's such a fun sport. i like to walk dogtown and z boyz, lots of that stuff is like longboarding and they were super stylie.

What are some good boards? I'm looking to get one, and I don't have any idea what to buy. Also, can you get one for under a 100 bucks?

We have an old saying down on the bayou....Blehhhhh!!!
 
I have a couple Sector 9s and love them. I have ridden a FlexDex which is super nice, but they went out of business a little while ago. It is really easy to make longboards too, there is a tuturiol under in article section of this site I think.

under 100? nothing. unless you build your own deck and then buy trucks, wheels, bearings, you're out of luck. good boards run you at least 150.

i love longboarding my dad tows me on his bike. its hella fun....i have a sector 9 carving series its sick

 
I've been longboarding lately down some hills its lots of fun just hard to stop sometimes if you dont have grass to slow down in. My friend B-wald makes custom boards but there not like planks of wood cut out, there actually layers and he uses kevlar so the boards are bullet-proof.

IM out like a blind kid in laser tag--- --- I'm out like a midget in a high jump competition
