Aight so next year im going to University of Western Ontario in london. The thing is i dont know of any where to ski around there which FUCKIN SUCKS, i need to ski or else i will die. So if anyone can let me know of some spots around there that would be illa. PS i live in kitchener and my home hill is chicopee so please no one mention chicopee cuz it sucks and dont mention other northern hills. thanks
 
i live in kitchener too and the only hill i know in london is boler mountain and its smaller than chicopee
 
Nah come to boler man, we're getting some new rails and we've got a good park warden who will set it up gnar. If you looking for downhill skiing go elsewhere but if you want somewhere close thats ok come to boler.
 
idk man, i know the park warden and he said they will be getting some. Plus they are alomost done the expansion, they're just shaping it.
 
sick, so the expansion will be done this year?? or next?? are they finally gunna set up that a-frame rail? fix the f-d box? if you have ever been to cobble hills, you know the disappointment i feel every day. boler kicks the shit out of cobdog. you know of any upcoming rail jams?
 
If were lucky, they'll have a preseason jam on the 30th of oct, but that could be held back to nov. I'm going to assume the extension will be done next year, cause its still all dirt and theres no lift lol. As for the rails they better set up some dope ones, they told me they were going to paint the ones they had and fix em as well as get some new ones. Some kid last year put his board thru the c box. it was so funny.
 
lol that c box is fun. i was the first skier to hit it actually (claim). they closed the park for like an hour to install it then it was basically an unoficial jam lol
 
hey, i just posted a thread about london, the place your gonna end up going is boler, its not amountain its like a hill basically but they have all new boxes this year including a flat down, a handrail box, a rainbow box and a dragon box, also a few rails.
 
whats chicopee right now? did they suffer alot from the rain or is it still dece?i might hit it up this weekend if it sounds more legit than 3 rails
 
yeah it was a bit hurting last weekend but they had all rails open last weekend but they destroyed the jump so i dunno if they have made snow yet to build a new jump or not
 
Hey man I'm in my first year @ uwo right now, you should join the uwo ski club, we have a few good trips during the year except Ive only been able to make it out to our whiteface trip, over reading week the rest of the club went to tremblant and le massif.... Or if your just looking to sesion a tiny park check out boler...
 
CObble hills isn't worth the time, if your going to uwo there are some dece handrails, i can hook you up with some secret ones around, but go to boler the park is pretty sick for rails.

London looks like its full of opportunity :P
Compared to my hometown in Owen Sound.
 
Bolers the only place in london and its got some sick sliders/rails/boxes, the park is really small but they pack it with features and this year we had two jumps. Chairlift is slow as hell though
