London Urban Session???

aghh i may be too late - and i live in montreal these days - but wander around (i think i spelled wander wrong?) the uni campus and DEFINITELY find the western road/platts lane intersection - INSANE loooooooooong yellow down rail that has a s curve tbing happneing...university is a must though, essex hall parking lot...anywho hope that helps. l-dot represent.

 
hmm, I'm lining up a few rails at western too... check out the twenty and tens at banting that's sick, and they've been kept up by the skaters there (not the twenty, but it'd be sick to stomp ten-set to ten-set out front of banting. Snow is lacking around here though. gah at least arenas have some.

 
oh how would you go about hitting the platt's and western one? from what I've seen of it, you have to skip the first ten feet and hit it on an angle since there's limited run in space...

 
As far as the snow, weather is calling for a decent dumping on Thursday, so I'm banking on that, but also some rink snow no doubt. I have no idea about any of these rails, I've only been in London once before. Either way, I'm still planning on a Thursday night session...followed by some beers.

 
well if there is a dumping then I might be out skiing rails around the carling heights skate-park, thurs is a bad evening for me to head elsewhere, but since I'm around there and aside skatepark rails there's a pair of mellow down-downs that look good to hit.

if there is a dumping we could meet up there at 8:30/8:45. It's the skatepark south east of adelaide and oxford near the community center, sound good?

from there we could go elsewhere... banting would be good no matter what, unless security is around.

cool, having looked around byron too much, the skaters at banting are great, having sawed off the bottom kinks on the two ten-sets so those are probly the best set up rails around... and there is always the damn tempting twenty, and an s going down to the mall.

 
there is a sick road gap over the road that runs up the side of brescia college hill jus off of sarnia rd...its like 20ft prolly

 
ok, everyone seems to like the long yellow at td, I doubt anyone is going to make it, since there's minimum run in space. You'd have to skip a fifth of the rail to get enough speed, then you're getting on it at an angle, the rail s's part way through and you'd have to be under six-foot if you do make it to the tree next to the landing, but hey, no worries... my attempt will be next year.

 
that rail doesn't look that bad, its only got a mild bend. It will be a super long slide if someone can do it for the whole way.

hmmm if anybodies interested, after boler closes fri night a friend and myself are going to the student lot behind oakridge secondary school and are going to set up a hip with the landing facing the soccer field, post up here if you're interested in coming out... more diggers the better since the run in will be built out of the snow plowed from the teachers lot...

hey, does anybody here go to western and/or in the western ski club? Ive been looking for some people to come hit a rail near my house. With all this new snow, im not gonna pass it up.

 
i go to western, part of the WSF but I ski (friends with the prez and VPs and shit). My buddy had a rail his backyard last year but since he moved, we're moving it to my backyard, Mill & Richmond. I don't mind ppl coming and hitting it either
