Logo Design Software

I have not seen many threads on this topic, but I am looking to make a logo and I have no idea if there is any software that I can make one on. I have some drawn up ideas I was looking to do and I printed them out on sticker paper and they look just god awful so any help would be great!

yeah illustrator is the jam, such a valuable program to learn and know. Take a class, junior college intro course is all you need to have illustrator be your oyster.

I did 3 years of Graphic Design at college, save your money do tutorials on lynda.com.

learn technical skills on lynda; adobe also has some good tutorials on their website.

pen tool + pathfinder and align will be really helpful. it's a steep learning curve, but it really pays off when you learn how to correctly use the tools.
