So in the city I live in (Peterborough), in the past week or so there has been 3 bomb threats on different schools in the city. None off the threats have actually been followed through but they have put the schools in lockdown.

Anybody here have any stories of lockdowns or anything like that at your school.
 
In eighth grade my friend was home from school not feeling too well. A few days before we had all been over at his house having an airspft war, and a bunch of us left our "guns" at his house. He decided it'd be a nice thing to return them to our houses so he took to walking them back. Some lady saw him, called the police to report a "young black man was walking by the middle school with an automatic weapon." My friend in Native American, and rather pale at that. He caused a lockdown by walking the airspft guns home.
 
when i was a senior a student came to school with a shotgun and killed himself and a girl.
 
When I was in kindergarten, there was an armed robbery and high-speed chase nearby. The crim drove through the fence and ditched the car on the soccer field behind the before taking off on foot. This took place during recess, and all the teachers scrambled to gather up all the kids back into the school.

Kinda lame now, but it was pretty scary when you're 5.
 
A couple years ago in my little town there was an armed robbery and highspeed chase at like 9 in the morning. the weird thing was that the school didn't go into lockdown but all the government buildings did.
 
In high school I was playing in a golf match that was interrupted by a high speed police chase that cut through the fairway I was about to tee off on. It was pretty much like the scene from Happy Gilmore except with the addition of 3 squad cars.
 
I've got two.

At my brother's old high school in Florida, a fired teacher walking into the school with a rifle in a guitar case and killed the headmaster, and then himself.

A week or two ago we had a lockdown because someone brought a fake gun to school. The same person had another fake gun a week before, had gotten into a fight, and pulled it. Cops were involved, but then they figured out it was fake. So, when he pointed the fake gun at another student, a teacher locked down the whole school, for the entire duration of fourth period. May I say again, the gun was fake.

Idk if this counts but we had a bomb threat and the whole got evacuated and on my way out I tripped down the fucking stairs. There were like 3 stairs..
 
There may have been one when I was in high school but I can't remember, actually it might have happened the year before I entered high school.

The college I transfered from just had a guy shoot himself in the head in the library. This was like two months ago.
 
Our school had a lock down drill, and they had us sit up against the wall. There was an empty cabinet next to me, and this really weird kid just crawls over to it and climbs inside. I was the only one who noticed. Locke own drill ended and my teacher was like "where is E" and the kid just jumps out of the cabinet while growling and hissing. It was dead silent and he just started walking and sat down in his seat, and we went on with class.
 
this guy at my school left his class walked to this guy who stole his girls class and was trying to kick down the door to get to him. so we have a lockdown protocol for this room where they literally open up the windows break the screen and have us run to highway to hide. so we did and about half an hour later they tell us that it's safe to come back because the cops have apprehended him. so thats my story.
 
I was once participating in a lock down and being the nice guy that I am, I walked around the school letting the teachers/students know it was all clear

A teacher thought it would be hilarious to come flying out of his classroom with a baseball bat above his head...damn kids
 
Here in Idaho its legal to bring knives and crap to school in some schools. Some schools even let you have guns in your car. Kinda scary but the schools that allow it are the farm schools.
 
we had a lockdown in my junior high school for a week. there were a few bomb threats so we had to get our backpacks searched every morning
 
at my old school kids would write fake bomb threats on the bathroom walls with sharpie and when a teacher or janitor saw it they wiuld report it
 
Man got pick-axed in the head by a homeless schizophrenic off his meds in front of a whole 8th grade glass, and to top it off, there was a gas leak in the building, so we just got sent home early.

my college had an on campus gun locker for students to keep their bows, shotguns and rifles. so in the fall you'd see quite a few people just strolling through campus with gun cases
 
At the end of my senior year, some kid wrote a hit list on the bathroom stall and said that blood will be shed at 4:20 the following day. So the next day tensions were high and cops were all over the school. So the kid then writes Redrum on the walls and that's when the police chase starts. He's carrying a gun and runs right by my classroom. Nothing exciting... just a little pump of adrenaline.

Then he runs into the woods and momentarily lost the cops. So what does this genius do? He tried to double back to the school and is then apprehended as he was trying to start the school on fire.
 
Me and shin bang are currently in English class in a lock down. Not sure if drill or real. Will update you guys.

The town got really pissed off at the cops. After a few days the cops found him and shot him dead. People got real pissed off at the cops when that happened.

I think it was thee days in total the town was on lockdown.
 
When I was in 9th grade I was getting bussed to the High school for the first half of each day to take classes there (we didnt actually go to the HS building till 10th grade) Anyways first block we had a bomb threat and they evacuated the HS building to another building nearby. They wouldn't let any of us leave for several hours so I missed most of the day back at the Junior high. I got chill and play games and shit while all my friends back at school had to do school. Winning

At my high school we would alway have a huge lockdown drill at the beginning of every year. They would have the cops come and have sketchy people walk through the school to make it realistic. So last year the cops that they had come ended up bringing the drug dogs and they sniffed out a whole bunch of pot in a lot of kids lockers. They ended up getting screwed for it. Now everyone knows not to bring their weed to a lockdown drill

This right here is a classic example of American stupidity. How can we stop gun violence if we allow shit like this!!!!!!???!?!?!
