I live in a quiet and pretty much crime free suburban community. Picked up my girlfriend, chilled at my house for a bit, and when I get back to my car I find my mp3 player missing and about 2 dollars in change from the cup holder. Thank fuck they didnt take my skateboard. Anyways I'm just really fuckin pissed off and anyone who steals shit like that deserves to be stoned to death.
 
yep.shit like that sucks balls. My mom's car got broken into a month or two ago, and her purse that had a few hundred in it was stolen. i wanna fucking kill the people who do this.

I live in the most quite neighborhood ever in a small town but someone stil broke into a house down the road form me and stole jewelry and guns.... and i'm pretty sure someones been stealing my mail too...
 
I know a guy who goes car hopping on occation. Its stupid as fuck but he really doesnt know any better. He did steal a credit card and bought an $800 ROOR with it so I guess that was alright. But I dont condone that shit.
 
i dont get why you wouldnt lock your car doors... i mean it takes about 1 second, plus you can do cool james bond-style car door locking moves.
 
Im not saying it was alright in the sense that it was alright to steal the credit card and buy the bong, Im saying it was alright to smoke out of it. As I said I dont condone that shit.
 
Yeah man I feel for ya. Over the summer my neighborhood had a huge problem with this. Even some of my friends were doing it (granted they were only stealing cigarettes because they're not 18 but still...) Other people would steal money, i-pods, gps, and straight up take stereos out of cars. Shits really fucked up and luckily never happened to me. I guess you had to learn the hard way.
 
My neighborhood is getting car hopped at least once a week. Two or Three weeks ago they were coming back sometimes every night. I'm not sure if its the same people because my neighbors car got stolen and they never found it aka it got choppped. But nobody would steal a car and come back again again and again. I'm awake till like 4am sometimes so the sketch part is im likely awake while someones just under my window going around our cars. Me and my friend saw some kid at 3am running down the street and we cornetred him behind these bushes and I brought out a replica gun and told him I better not see him coming down my strreet even in the day time. He lives down the street and is sketch as fuck.One day I will catch someone on the propertty and tackle a bitch

i personally think someone who's stupid enough to leave there purse in there car, doors locked or not isn't the brightest bulb...its simple, people steal things, its ALWAYS going to be that way.im not no way saying that this isn't wrong, but the easiest way to deal with this is just don't leave anything worth stealing in your car, and leave ur doors unlocked.they almost always try the doors first and this prevents a broken window.if someone who's dumb enough to go steal shit sees something they want, a window is little deterrent to them getting that shit.end/
 
it sucks so much. The night before hanukkah my moms car got broken into they stole a bunch of clothes and an ipod. Luckily they didnt find my brand new oakleys and my new ipod. On the same night this old ladys car got broken into and every single christmas gift she bought for her grandchildren was stolen. its the worst feeling ever so guys lock your cars all the time
 
i did this and tried to pick my own lock and i couldnt get it to work, its actually really hard to do
 
Yeah I remember once having my cars window get smashed in so they could try to steal shit, it was the worst feeling ever walking to my car and seeing the window shattered out
 
i'd like to see you walk around the South Side of Chicago and tell me it's the same as walking around the North Shore of the Chi... it's not racism when you simply point out the "white" neighborhoods tend to feel safer than the fuckin 'hood. there are parts of Chicago and Vegas i simply won't go to alone and definitely wouldn't go to after dark because i'm a white boy... and white boys have no business in the projects.

It doesnt matter where you live, your shit will get stolen.

That is why its dumb to leave your purse, wallet, camera, ipod, gps ect out in plain sight. When theifs are scooping out cars to rob, they are obvioulsy going to break into a car that they see valuables in, so lock your doors, hid you expensive shit, and you can help to lower your chances of getting robbed.
 
I couldnt agree with you more, I grew up outside chitown, and I have been in the south side in parts where I didnt want to be during the day and it was sketch, definitly wouldnt want to be there at night.
 
fuckk i saw that on the news last year. i couldnt believe they would show that on the news, now everyone knows how to do it and more houses have a higher potential of getting broken into. the fucking media mann
 
I fucking hate that shit.... 3 years ago my jeep got broken into (smashed passenger window) right in front of my house. I lost:

My snowboard setup

2 pairs of goggles

3 pairs of gloves

My jacket

Heli-pack

all my cd's ( like 50 of em not burned)

Cd player

2 subs that were 2 days old

they broke the driver seat pulling the subs through the front door

and then they took my pack of smokes with 2 left in it to boot! Fucking pissed me off, at least have the decency to let me have a smoke when I discover all my shit gone. I don't know if anything has ever pissed me off more than having all the shit I worked hours and hours to buy just taken all at once!
 
word, i grew up on the North Shore and my parents are still in Evanston... i used to move herbage from the South Side up to school in the UP and was the ONLY white kid in the group of four who would go pick up. i was also instructed right off the bat to shut the fuck up unless spoken to- everyone would rather i wasn't involved, but since i was, they didn't want to hear from me. so, if some girl from MT wants to call it "racism", then fuckin forget her opinion (i didn't check to see where she was from until after posting that... she's from Montana- she doesn't know shit about the reality of urban life). there are places you simply don't belong purely because of the color of your skin and it's not blacks or hispanics who don't belong- it's the white bread that needs to stay the fuck out.
and i'm not claiming to be gangsta or any of that bullshit- i'm a punk-ass white boy from suburban Chicago who now lives in a cushy corner of Vegas- but i've seen enough of the "bad side of town" in Chicago, Detroit, and Vegas to know where i belong and where i don't have any business being. it's not racism- it's reality.

seriously, go to the South Side of Chicago alone at night, get out of your car, and walk around some side streets. i dare you. if you're white, you don't belong there. that's not racism, that's the way the world works- the niggas i used to buy grass from would love the chance to scare the living piss out of some stupid white kid. how many suburban white kids do you know who are going to pull a gun on some random black kid just to scare him a bit? maybe one or two who you think is "crazy" enough to pull a stunt like that, but seriously, how many times have you personally seen it happen?
it blows my mind that people make comments like yours... do you REALLY think you're safe walking around the 'hood as a white kid? walk around Compton and see what happens. then take a stroll through Beverly Hills... tell me there's no difference.
 
and where in his comment did you get that non-whites are responsible for all crime? i'm fairly certain EVERYONE knows what he meant by "white neighborhood" or whatever he said and he wasn't being racist or ignorant. when i think of a "white neighborhood", i think of the suburb i grew up in- Wilmette, IL- and it's only about half "white", but it's the feel of a suburban white-bread community that he was talking about, not the ratio of white people to minorities. THAT'S PRETTY OBVIOUS. i was pointing out for those of you who seem to immediately become offended once skin color is brought up is that he was simply using a rather common term to differentiate between the "good" side of town and the "bad" side of town. if you're offended by the fact that the "bad" side of town is made up of primarily minorities, go talk to them about it and tell them to get their act together, don't bitch at us about being racist or whatever. the reality of the world is that in most American cities, the "white" communities are typically "safe" and the "bad side of town" is typically made up primarily by minorities.
all he was saying was how unfortunate it is that even in an area where you feel safest, you still need to watch your back, he wasn't being racist.
 
i think it is worse when you get your window broken and they only steal worthless stuff. i have had my car broken into to steal a pack of cigs and burnt cds and another time i finish class and go to my car and my windows broken and nothing is missing that i know of. both times $90 for a new window.

so sorry i can't spell. i'm white, though, so i don't really need to know anything to get ahead in life.

i dont condone the dude stealing the card and buying shit, but its not like the person he stole it from had to pay for it. the credit card company usually covers some shit
 
I used to do that a lot in highschool when I was drunk. Its an asshole thing to do. I got caught and got away with it too because I was still 17 but I got my court date deferred 5 months, making me 18, and the juvenile system can't really be bothered with trying adults.

But yeah don't steal its bad.
 
Thats shitty, I dropped my wallet and left my gloves there. I'm pretty pissed about that one.
 
i propose you beat the shit out anyone who steals valuable things, even if it wasn't yours, becuase you can bet your ass the person who had something stolen wishes it would happen. then maybe when you get jacked the thief will try to brag about it and he will get his ass whooped.

I wouldn't say its racist when its a common fact that the whitest areas tend to have lower crime rates. That's not saying honkys don't commit crime but high white areas are usually upper class and have lower crime rates.
 
Yeah but if you live in the Suburbs no one is really going to break into your car, its more likely some kid is going to be running around checking every car to see if its unlocked.

In nice suburban nieghborhoods its probably 1 in 10 at least.
 
Its the nice neighborhoods that get hit because they have nicer shit , are more careless, and the people are doing it are ghetto fucks. so they walk over to your hood.atleast thats how it is here
