cypress started snowmaking!

lets make this a thread about updates on features in the parks, snow, etc on the locals

cypress and grouse are both opening tomorrow cypress w/ a top to bottom run and 4 features including jump (skate park) , grouse w/ bunny hill and mini jib park (paradise)

cypress has a flat shotgun, a down flat tube, a downish box, a flat box, and one medium step over jump which is really well made. theres also a few good side hits on the two runs (not including bunny hill) they have open one of the side hits is a big grass gap thing thats about 10 feat gap.

the lift lines were good but the runs were very crowded.

overall great start to the season!

Grouse made their early season jib park bigger! They have:

Down lift tube

Flat down box or down rail

Down box

Down bar with stairs

Flat ledge thing

Down bar w/ dink

Looks like the sickest early park in at least a few years

It's even better now! I headed up today and they added a flat bar, rainbow box, and a flat down elbow rail with stairs

where did they have room to put those? from the video on the home page it looked like everithing was pretty compact as it was.

They had space at the bottom of the run. Everything actually flows really nicely with a decent amount of space inbetween every feature

friend who works at cypress says they're real fucking close to shuttin' her down until the snow comes back

haven't been up grouse recently, but it can't be much better

was hiking up dog mountain off seymour the other day and it looks pretty grim over there as well

went to cypress today fun park- df, tube pole jam and dfd, jump down shotgun and down box, mini flat rail and dance floor, flat tube and pontoon, also some pretty fun side hits. three runs open total
