LOCAL MTN STUDENT NIGHT.

So I am bored of how noone at ubc goes to any of the local mtns...and how gay everyone here is........As a result I am trying to set up a local mtn student night. Say monday or tuesday nights a bus would leave from ubc and go to one of the local mtns. I will try to set it up so that lift tickets are 10 or 15 dolla.....then the bus ride.  This would be a really fun sick idea and get some students interested in the local mtns again, maybe spread hype about them to people who can afford thier services.  It would also be super fun to have a big bus of students going out each week, build a good student community around our love for the sport.       Anyways I wanted to get a better feel for how many people are interested in this proposition and if anyone wants to give me some assiatance in setting it up.     ( maybe someone from the ski/board club, i'm not a member cuz i boycotted them :(... )           Yeah so thoughts, interest, help??
 
I'd be interested. Talk to the AMS, they might be able to help you out too. For the ski&board club, just drop by the office and ask them...
 
I go to UBC and ride at the locals like 4 days a week. Id be interested in doing a cypress shuttle if you can get 10$ lift tickets.
 
Well I have a car... and I work on monday and tuesday nights... but yeah, not a bad idea I guess?
 
Yeah i was thinking monday/ tuesday nights cuz the mtns might be more willing when there are less people on the mtn. I talked to the snowbus guys and they said thier current license stops them from doing sucha job, but if things move forward they will apply for a license to do that directly.  They really wnat to work with ubc students.   So next i need to set up a solid proposal and meeting with managers of the local mtns.    Anyone in buisness and good at proposals?   i can do it, but help is always greaat. Plus someone can put in some big buisness words i may not be framiliar with. 
 
I go to UBC and I have a Seymour pass. I'll be skiing Seymour weeknights for sure!
