Prolly miles away from anywhere remotely near you but here in Edinburgh (Scotland, UK) there is ALOT of local music around.

www.edinburghmetalscene.co.uk has a fairly global approach to it.

up here in alaska the four dopest bands are JEB (www.jebonline.com) Subconscious (http://www.subconscious1.homestead.com/) Delmag (http://www.delmag.biz/) and 36 Crazy Fists (www.36crazyfists.com) all are super sick, JEB is hilarious, subconscious is heavy and soemtimes mixed with some softer singing, delmag is kinda like nirvana, as is jeb, and 36 is heavy too. all super good all from alaska.
