Sorry for posting a video in the forum but just want to get this to everybody and say we're pumped you're back LJ and appreciate your amazing attitude, excitement and determination in coming back from such a terrible injury!

The 11/12 winter season was on track to be the greatest season of LJ Strenio's life filled with fun park sessions in the US, powdery heaven in Europe and a trip to the urban rail mecca of Finland with Level 1. As we know too well with all this fun there is the possibility of injury & consequence. A shattered kneecap in Finland sidelined LJ for the rest of the year and through rehab, determination and the great attitude that LJ is known for is back for more!

some of that is REALLY hard to watch and hear, but what a testament. Come back and take 1st in WOR damn...

i might have chuckled a little, but mad props and respect for getting back on the horse and killing it again, already winning stuff, insane

Holy fucking shit man, that was intense. Im in shock right now.

So glad he's okay! Thats such an inspiration.

Lj has the sickest style and does the sickest shit. That was insane. fucking shit.

fucking shit.

You handled that shit like a fucking man.....I must admit though, I laughed when you asked if they minded if you went to the hospital.

Wow, that was crazy to watch. being able to relate to that to a small extent when i broke my tibia about 2 months ago made my palms sweaty. from immediate impact to the screaming again and again and all the thoughts rushing through your head at the time just sucks. that was gnarly.

Holy shit that was intense, I cant even imagine.

But I did chuckle when he asked if they minded if they went to the hospital

I laughed a little through most of that... Just because I thought I was the only one that got super polite when I'm injured. Also, the anger at the end... I know exactly what that's like.

Props for coming back as quick and strong as you have, that's not something most could have done.

wow that was tough to watch. Also, you can tell LJ's an east coaster by the way he rides pow, i fucking love it. burying the tips to get as much of a face shot as humanely possible. Stoked to see what else he comes up with

LJ is such a motherfucking boss! I could not have returned to skiing after obliterating my knee like that. At least not NEARLY as fast. I think my brain may have exploded laying on the snow after it happened.

Dude's made of steel.

that was so tough to watch especially since I have battled knee injuries as well. It's so awesome to see how resilient the human spirit can be especially after such trauma. Way to go LJ, inspiring to say the least

You guys definitely should have called an ambulance straight away. And if you were wondering the costs, its about 15 bucks..

holy shit that was brutal. I'd be a lot more hysterical than he was. I thought my knee injury was bad

8:47 made me laugh just because of how nonchalant he is, "think illl ever be able to walk again" I would have been spazing out.

Seriously.

LJ is always SO positive and to see in this situation just sucked to watch, but stoked to see him back at it and killing everything!

Are there any pictures or video of LJ's knee? That shit was fucked up, can't believe he won WOR after a quick recovery from an injury like that. Props

Holy fucking shit. It was a dope edit and then the crash. I can't believe how gnarly that was. Disaster 630 and thenn crash into the rail with that speed. Fucking shit. I have mad respect if you can take sucha crash so polite and then come back after one year

Holy shit I can't even imagine how bad that must have been. Made me cringe so much. Mad respect for making such a good comeback.

holy fucking christ that was so fucking hard and fucking scary to watch. im in shock. omfg. terrifying. hearing someone come to terms with there life being over in the hysteric state is pure terrifying.

I remember LJ showing my group this at windells. He thought the phases he went through after it happened were funny when we watched it, denial, pain, adrenaline, thirsty, sad, ahaha LJ is the man!

Its definitely hard to watch someone in that much pain but the comeback this year has been fucking amazing.

So fucking nuts dude. That is why I am terrified of supports in rails.

Good thing he is back to skiing now, so scary.

that was fucking brutal to watch.

after watching what he went through and the recovery part that we didn't see i Have 1000000000000000000000000000000000 times more respect for this man and not to mention he appears to be back 100%

630 onto a steep downrail with open bars and stairs is just asking for trouble. Im sorry LJ , i love you .
