Living in Queenstown/Wanaka

My name is Mike and I am currently looking for a place to stay in either queenstown or wanaka for the winter. I am living in a campervan currently and it may get unbarable some nights so I was wondering if anyone has any cheap rooms or a couch to stay on. Another option is if anyone has any room in driveway or a garage where I can park my van and sleep and possibly plug a heater into an outlet to stay warm. I would be willing to chip in if this is possible. Thanks.

I think I've decided to stay in Wanaka and I am still looking for a driveway/garage spot where I can just run an extension cord so I can use my small heater a little bit so I can be warmer at night. I am willing to help pay power bill and what not so let me know if anyone is interested. Thanks.
