Living in NZ

depends where you plan on living. What sort of an area do you want to live? Busy city? moderately busy city? Whatever you do, do not live in Hamilton. You will regret it. and probably experience manlove from the locals, whether you like it or not.
 
i would prefer the south island, Dunedin, Queenstown and Christchurch but Wellington would do. How well are americans accepted down there?
 
I'd suggest Dunedin, its full of students. American's are accepted really well, especially by the young girls fascinated with accents... hahaha
 
I will have an engineering degree, i read that in NZ they are short on engineers and maybe other professions as well, is that true?
