LIving in Bozeman

Newschoolers.com has steered my life in many directions and it has given me a wealth of information on areas to ski and live. I am thinking about starting my life all over in Bozeman, Montana in the future and well I look to ns once again for advice.

If any of you have time and would like to chat about life in Bozeman, I would sure but interested. I am single, 30 years old with a lot of work experience in many fields. I have many questions about Bozeman and I am just looking someone who has time to reach out with information. I noticed there are many pros of living there including low rent and lack of crowds in the bc and resort. You and everyone else. Even within the past year it seems like it has become harder to find a decent place for cheap rent. Out of curiosity, what kind of job experience to you have? Bozeman has an awesome optics industry and is really pushing for growth right now.

The master bedroom in our house is opening up Jan 1, it has a private bathroom, house is dog friendly (pets are another one of the things that can be a pain in Bozone).

If you are an outdoors based person, living in Bozeman is rad. I actually live just south of Bozeman in a small community called Four Corners, but I claim Bozeman on my address because Four Corners isn't even really a thing. It's just the rural southern end. I love living here because I'm away from the crowd, but also close to everything I need. About 30 minutes from Bridger and 45 from Big Sky. So I do have pass options, and while it is easy to find a job in the area, to find a great paying job is a different story.

Since the town in developing at a fairly quick rate, there are a lot of construction and general labor type jobs available in and around the area. New housing is always being developed, though housing is also hard to come by sometimes. I lucked out with my cabin.

Like I said, if you spend most of your time outside: ski, snowboard, hike, bike, fish, hunt, climb, whatever, then you can't ask for a better location. Close to Yellowstone and it's exceptional beauty.

Guess one of the only downsides is that it's a pretty fucking white area to live. I miss VA in this aspect because at least there is some resonance of diversity.

There are 60k+ living in Bozeman right now with another 60k predicted to arrive in the next four years.
