Living at the Rustler: Alta

Hey yall, I just got accepted for employee housing in the Rustler next season. Just wondering what its like to live there and who on here is going to be kicking it with me at Alta!

ski bum central. I haven't worked their but had a best friend/ski buddy working up at alfs all season long and it was kinda similar. Just a bunch of bros and hoes living to shred. They were setup in bunkrooms so id imagine its similar along with a common room with a TV and stuff.

enjoy it though, they got to ski some of the most incredibly wicked days of all time including a few interlodge days where they had the damn resort to themselves and plenty of pow to go around. the stuff dreams are made of.

interlodge means you stay in the lodge and are fined for going outside

you mean days the avvy danger is high enough to postpone the road opening

yet not so high they slap an interlodge down or just run chickadee

don't happen much

and

its like scoring putty tail in a canyon sausage fest bro down

prepare to ski n party hard

Basically yeah you get what im saying. Interlodge until they are all clear and they have the road shut down, there were a few of those instances this year. Enjoy it though, altas one of the last decent places to work and ski at nowadays it seems.

Hell yeah dude that looks awesome. I'm going to be a houseman at the Rustler, carrying bags and stuff like that. Stoked for the winter.
