So I have a mac and i ma wondering if there is a way I can tether it to my nikon d300s throughout the usb port in my camera. The main thing i want to be able to do is use it to shoot video. So i have found one on the app store (sofortbild) but it could not shoot video... I know canons have the dos control on the disk and i looked on my disk that came w/ the camera and there wasn't anything so if anyone can help me out that would be great

Nikon has software called creative control for this specific purpose, however it costs like $90 and if you can't afford that it's nearly impossible to torrent.

I don't know why I had Creative Control in my head, well yeah here's a link to the software:

I checked the disk and it came with a free trial of nx and it didn't seem to even have a tether control option? Have you done it b4?

i've never actually used the software but i was under the impression it was the full version... i don't see why they would give you a trial. sorry
