Yep, we're stoked to be able to bring the Open to NS. We're currently working out all the details but here's the tentative schedule:

Broadcast times:

+ Slopestyle -- Semifinals and Final rounds Friday afternoon 12:00pm – 4:30pm

+ Big Air Pro -- semifinals and Head to Head Finals Saturday night 5:00pm – 8:00pm

+ Superpipe – Semifinals and Final rounds Sunday afternoon 12:00pm – 4:30pm

There will likely be some sort of delay (perhaps 15-30 minutes) depending on how good connectivity ends up being, but the streams will be full broadcast quality, and all event streams will be available on NSTV soon after the live shows are completed.

Sorry I didn't mention it before but those times are indeed MST, which is two hours behind Eastern.

We'll likely have the broadcasting page online sometime on Thursday and will have a link to it in the navigation bar as well as the home page (and forums of course).

Stay tuned, this is going to be sick!

 
So... We won't be able to see clasifications from heats 1,2,3, and 4?

How many people are there on the finals? semifinals are 24 classified + 24 invited=48 right?

THX is fuckin great anyway! (only that if our friends don't get passed the heats then we won't be able to see them...
 
I hope your announcers are better than the xgames... But in all seriousness. I remember the first broadcasted event. It was a camera in a tower about a mile away from the mountain. You couldn't see anything. Any chance we can get a preview?
 
alright alright so lets get this time zone thing straight. I live in ontario, it is currently 11:00 am. What in will the viewing begin for me?

is it going now? i cant tell if my internet is messed up and its not letting me play it or if its just not started yet.
 
Yep, we'll have it all up for on-demand viewing hopefully in the next day or so.

This coverage has been absolutely awesome! Hopefully there will be more broadcasts like this for like, the north american open,etc.

Congratulations on the broadcasting. Everyone thought it'd be something crappy like the orage masters 3 or 4 years ago and it was x-games level. GREAT JOB NS!
 
thank yhou ns for bringin us something that normal everyday television neglects, you'd think a channel that broadcasts proffesional billiards would allow for a little skiing, but then again, we are under the bush administration.....
 
I didn't watch the slopestyle, but the big air coverage was amazing!! Multiple angles, slow motion replays, commentary, interviews.. WOW I wasn't expecting that!! NS rocks!!
 
cheers for the live broadcats on us open but what about euro open? is there going to be live broadcast too for "euroopen"
