Its just a trailer for now, I did a very rough color job and didn't adjust anything but I still like what I concocted.

I haven't had the chance yet to shoot any sports with my fs700 so I'm super stoked about this and I thought I would share.

It was just a song I layed on my timeline to fuck arround with shots. I ended up liking the edit and decided to post it as a trailer. The final video will have an other song and a good audio mix.
 
I loved it, really nice time remapping, good colors, good music timing, Im glad you chose another song for the final draft SAIL is so over played. Overall I really liked it

I dont really mind your not being impressed. As I said earlyer this was just a result of me slapping on the song I happened to be listening to and editing to it for 20 minutes to test out my shots. The grade was done to one shot and just added to everything else without a checkup.

This was purely for fun.

The final version will have a different song. Probably a song free of use with mostly ambiance. I will add a strong audio mix with the action and I have a few special effect shots to compose.

The final video will be nothing like this, much cleaner, much better. Im sticking with the slowmotions though because the edit will have a hyper realistic feel to it with the effects and sound mix.

This was just me fucking arround with my footage, the final edit will be much much cleaner and more tastefull.

I just wanted to see if this would get a bit of hype for the next one, so far with the filming world its pretty hyped, with sports people, they dont like the song, with randoms... they LOVE THE SLOMO!

Its stupid but slowmotion sets videos apart (for random people, who compose 60% of my viewers) So slowmotion has to stay. I dont want just bland generic slow motion for the sake of doing slowmotion, I want to create a hyper realistic vibe to the edit, I think that will really show in the final edit.

Thanks for the comments guys. The critics even if they are harsh, are always good to hear. I like to know what people are looking for, so it helps a lot.
 
Some of the shots were sick, but the processing you did just looks flat out weird. I won't bitch about the song since everyone else already has.
 
I liked the emotion the color grading gave, but I feel like it just a little overdone.

And I get what you're saying about the slow mo but what really sets it apart is the clips you choose to slow down. I think you could play a few more at full speed and it'd make the ones that are slowed down seem even cooler that it's slow mo.

That shot where you cut to the kid jumping in front of the sun - I didn't like it. The exposure jump was way to big. I think a cooler way to do that would be to set the exposure correct for when he's in front of the sun and have it super over exposed when he's not.

Other than that I thought it was well done. Good angles (although you caught your shadow in a few shots), and good shots. I think the full edit has a lot of potential!
 
the grade is a little heavy toward the reds. i think if you take a break from it for a little while then take a look at it again. thats happened to me before and i cant even watch my own video cuz the grade is too heavy, just a thought for when you do yours.

i kinda liked the slowmo shots. especially the tighter ones. and i liked the last shot but your shadow took me out of it a little bit. just watch that for next time, the other side of the rail would have been cool.

and i liked the song. fuck it
