Alright. Im looking to get into using twintips, ive been using skiboards for a couple of years and now just wana progress. Ive trawled the web and forums for info, but i need a bit of direct advice.
Im looking for a ski thats guna let me do a bit of everything when im on the mountain, but I mainly wana get better in the park and jibbing. Im 5'10" and 154lbs, so what you reckon on skis and ski size?
Thanks.

Well first off whats your geographic location? if u get alot of pow id suggest a wider ski for u. As for all mountain, a park ski will work, but as soon as you take it on rails your edges will go to shit making carving alot harder.

heres a rough list of skis that you could go for:

head mojo one

head bullet

line invader

line anthem

line chronic

armada ar6

salomons made before this season

pretty much anything 4frnt

moment renos

etc...

pretty much anything designed for park and pipe will work just fine, if its your first year, u can buy used or previous seasons cause being trendy and having the latest and greatest isnt a nessesicty for your first season

Thanks.
Ive been looking at the Line Invaders and found them at an alright price, just not sure what size to get???151, 161, 171 or 178?
As for location, im in the UK. So have to travel a bit.

If it's your first year on twintips, I would suggest you the Line Invaders it's a nice quality/price package. And don't go to big if it is your first year, don't go with the 178 the are gonna be like the top of you're head, maybe go with something smaller like the 171 more easy to do tricks and they would be around the top of your nose. And at this time of the season you can find a pair for less than $150 US.

I think you misread that. But 171 is shorter than my girlfriend's skis, and she is smaller than him. He can definitely handle a 178 because those things are like center mounted noodles.

Im not sure he should go with such a noodle for his first ski especially if you are going to do anything outside the park. I would do a 175+ chronic center mounted or maybe -2 or so

Really...I'm gonna tell him to go to ur home mountain and crash into u when he gets going mach looney cause he can't turn his stiff ass skis. Nice advice douche.
