Little Cotton Wood

I am driving my truck with a camper on it to SLC from Portland tomorrow morning. Does anyone know if I can park over night at the park and ride at the bottom of little cotton wood. I am going to ski Alta on the 1st. I need to take the bus casue I have my dog with me and I don't want to risk the ticket. Any information would be helpful.

Thanks,

Spencer

I'm pretty sure that overnight in the LCC park and ride is no bueno.

Check out the Wal Mart on 9400 south (about 1300 eastish), you should be able to camp out there no problem and it's not too far from the mouth of the canyon in the morning.

maybe you should have read it a little better then huh?....any ways..this might be a little out of your way..but you could probably park up at campus (the U) over night up at the dorms as long as its after 5pm and your out by 8am or else you'll get a 15-30 dollar ticket....not sure if this is convenient for you but just a thought

im pretty sure you can park overnight in the lot at the bottom of big cottonwood. the MFM bus is there all the time and i dont think anyone has a problem with it

my roommate left a car at the park and ride at the corner by the 7-11 a few weeks ago when we stayed up bcc at a cabin, and did not even get a ticket or a warning, but that was just the car. they might frown upon you sleeping there if they do a drive through of the lot and notice.

i don't think you can park overnight at the base of lcc by the sign.

No go at the base of LCC but the swamp lot at the second to last light before driving up LCC does allow overnight parking and the bus is a hop skip and a jump away... little late I know but I enjoy throwing my two cents in anyways...

Sorry for the delayed response. I ended up staying next to the 2nd PR down the hill two nights with no problems. It was new years eve and new years day so no one bothered us. There were tons of cops around but they didn't seem to care.
