Yo g'day man how are ya?

this is some real talk about global warming

about the planet being sweltering and storming

ur just sitting on the couch, probly yawning

but in the future you'll be mourning

just a lil rap to get you guys in the mood but i just thought i would share my opinion about global warming. it was super hot on the slopes today. looked at the thermostat, read it, and said "wow thats hot!"

skied in a t-shirt and was super fun but realised at the end of the day that if this global warming stuff keeps up then in a matter of months all the snow will be gone...

There's a really good book out called Deep: the history of skiing and the future of snow. Recommend it.

but i do agree it is a problem that could fuck skiing for good.
 
The lack of cold/winterness is not due to global warming. If global warming caused this we would have way bigger concerns than skiing. This is caused by El Niño, jet streams are bring southern, warmer air up to the north and colder air to the south. It is beginning to get cold around now when jet streams have shifted and are bringing down air from the north. This is going to be a pretty short winter on the east coast but next year we should have a better winter.

Drive propane powered cars, way cleaner burning than gas with only small engine mods. Also for those of you in electric/hybrid cars saying "oooh I'm helping" look up how shitty for the earth those huge batteries are to manufacture and dispose of. They are definitely helping to reduce emission related issues but are adding to another significant issue. Diesel also burns way cleaner than gas and if you do not believe me look it up/end rant
 
Y'all are using El Nino as an excuse, and yes, the reason it is so warm this season is because of El Nino, but think ahead; if we don't stop it now, this will be the weather every year. Pretty soon global warming is going to become glaringly obvious and by that point it will be too late to do anything about it. We need to snap out of this denial phase of hacktivism and actually do something, whatever we can as children of the mountains, to help.

Good job bud, but its caused by wind patterns and the cause isnt fully understood by scientists because of how complicated the global wind patterns are.

Yeah but its pretty stupid to jump to that conclusion with absolutely zero scientific evidence or study to back up the claim.
