Lip help

alright, so i just tried out my set up yesterday...the only problem i had was the lip...it felt like it was just shooting me off of it but that's probably because it was too steep. my drop in is about 4 feet tall, i have an 8foot ramp, and a piece of plywood that kinda mellows it outat the end (i use plastic lattice for this part) and then the tranny and lip are astro turf. my box is 1 foot high (yea, it's low), and 10 ft long...so my question is, how mellow should the lip be? and also length wise, how long would it be? (like if it were a right triangle, how long would the bottom be?)

well that all depends if you want to be shot off onto the box or if you want to get a bit of height when you get onto, and want a bit of a pop. pictures would help. but mine is really mellow, i once had mine at like a right triangle horrible idea the tranny is way to steep. my best idea is for a 1 foot box which is what mine is basically, is line them up next to each other, it also depends if you want a jump up box. and then once you have them next to each-other just eye it out to what your preferences are
