Linux for your ipod

I know someone who has done that and you can play some pretty sick games on there, dunno what else makes it better

why would you want to do that, its cool...but why?
It's mostly for geeks who just want to hack at something.
Honestly tho, doing that usually cuts the ipod's battery life by 30%, and there are still alot of bugs.
Then again, I can't turn my ipod off half the time because the touchpad doesn't read my fingertips very well.

i put linux on my iPod. The linux music player didn't work but there was some pretty fun games. Looking at pictures was cool too.

ya i posted it a few months ago, pretty crazy, but my ipod wont restart. if i try "select and menu" then it just turns on and doesnt respond to anything. i used to have doom on my ipod mini 1gen but linux started messing with the ipod and stuff so i just took it off. i was thinking of putting it back on lately but im just too lazy. ah well. if your good with computers its fun to play around with. you fucking nerd
