i was looking at the line site and saw an image for the 05-06 were instead of four holes there was 6 making there 2 possible places to mount bindings on the skis. maybe i jsut never noticed it before but in the pic theres a 4 hole mount and then a 6 hole mont ski right next to it

It appears they realized that people would like to have more options on mounting points. Great plan!!

 
i thought that if they made a 4hole insert where one is now and one at the normal mounting spot for all mountian riding it would work better

yeah i just went to the line site...that pic didnt load in here on my comp for sum reason until now. i think they should spread them farther apart...like one back at regular riding because it is very esay to switch the postions

I think even with the 8 holes, there are only two mounting positions. If you look at the distance between the holes, when mounting, every other set of holes would be used. The set of holes right next to each other are too close together.

 
two possible positions with 8 holes. Can't you move the binding on the plate forward or back once it is already mounted to some degree anyways. The only line skis I would want would be any model with that badass proto paintjob. Anyone seen the alternate production paintjob of the prophet, it sucks compared to the protos.

but i think they need at least 12 but should really have 16 holes.

 
yeah exactly...the graphic is sick and simple...i would buy the proto's off them. it is possible to buy them in the spring/summer i think off the Line site, the downside is that they are used

whoever said it, yes, you can move the binding around on the plate to customize your ride, as long as you crunch the numbers and fit your boot into it right.
