Is the traveling circus crew rich? They always make it seem that they are dirt poor but they have all these sponsors and they are all really good skiers.
 
LJ lived in the van last summer cause he doesnt have a place. Andy worked at pizza hut when he tore his ACL. All the money in the ski industry is in comp skiers really. They probably make enough to make ends meet, but are not rich by any means.
 
Ya... they mostly get gear and not to much money... But my question is more specifically about will Wesson... Andy said in the most recent tc episode" making his millions of dollars" obviously he isn't making that much but what do you think?

i really don't think they have much money to themselves. okay, but, you can definitely justify their lives as being rich, and if all those trips were paid by LINE, they're making a killing at life. just think of all the places they go, and how many miles the van has on it, and lift tickets etc. i don't think they pay for any of that shit.
 
Im going to say in total will andy and shane make around 25,000-35,000 combined. But a lot of their expenses are paid for, i.e. not having to buy clothes (sponsors) they sleep in a van when on trips or get hooked up by a friend, they spend most of their summer at windells or CoC where they get beds their and they split a small home in slc.
 
I have heard andy say before that he budgets about $8000/year to live/ski in the van. SO I hope that his sponsors pay him more than this so I would guess that they make around $12-16K/year. But in all reality I hope his sponsors pay him a fair wage for the revenue he helps generates - I would hope that they each makes around +30K/year at least
 
Clearly Andy's cousin Zandy owns the chicken wing business and Andy gets free wangs. Will is smart. Max raises pigs to eat because he loves bacon. Ian lives with his parents. Cole clearly lives with max's parents for Obvious reasons. LJ lives with will and Andy in the basement and has a smokin hot girlfriend. Also garret lives with his mom and spicy cat aka spicy. Erik lives in a tree at Mt. Hood. And then Shane is just along for the hell of the ride.
 
They should have a TC lockout until they get the money they deserve!on the real doe, i don't think wizards such as will and andy have any use for human currency...
 
I was really surprised that they were eating sushi in the last TC episode and was trying to figure out how that fit into their budget.
 
half the shit there sponsors give them they probably sell on their way across the country to pay for gas and shit. but i highly doubt they are making very much money that isnt going right back into their skiing and van escapades

 
Will's claim to being finically secure is for setting up a promising travelers program where he uses his millions of dollars earned from Level 1 to pay for his trips in the van. The only reason Andy is making it through these financial struggles is because Will stopped lending him money and he started panning for gold on his free time. He got lucky after finding moon rocks wedged between Ian Compton's teeth, that he sold to Yoke Collection for an ideal life time sponsorship with the addition of receiving a gazillion dollars. However Andy is a humble man and sticks to his roots of looking dirt cheap and the only reason he dosent compete in x games is because he has to keep his street credit constant with the image of being an average skier like Steve Stepp, otherwise the olympic slopestyle competition world would be blown away by the awesomeness of hippie killers and zero turns off jumps. People like Bobby Brown, Nick Goepper, Henrik Harlaut, McRae Williams, Kai Mahler, Alex Schlopy, Gus Kenworthy, James Woodsy Woods, Torin Yater-Target, Matt Walker and those french guys or whatever from superpipe would all have to pack their bags and leave the sport because there would be no point in competing against somebody who scores perfect on every run. Andy would let tom stay in the ski industry only because he taught him some afterbang in episode 1.4 but would make him promise to never do a tripple even if he added style to it by basically doing a 180 to switch tripple. Tanner Hall could also stay in the industry because he is a great influential speaker and he will push the sport to the next level and get Andy in the history books even if sports center completely ignores Andy's wizard tricks directly after xgames big air. If only Will wasn't such a money hog Andy would have never became rich on his own accord and the traveling circus would have less episodes, for Andy would still be working at pizza hut, because sometimes you just need a job and he is a normal person.
 
you all would be surprised, Im sure the only skiers making MONEY are the ones with big time sponsors and advertising. Wallisch, brown, wise, and maybe kenworthy get most of the advertising bucks..aka the money.
